TRICK OR TREAT: How to Throw Your Best Halloween Party Yet!

Halloween is just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about how you and your friends can celebrate this spooky day!

Pick a Theme
To take some of the stress out of finding the perfect Halloween costume try picking a theme to guide guests as to what to wear.  Some popular Halloween themed parties this year are: True Blood, 7 Deadly Sins, Superheroes and Villains, and a Murder Mystery Party.

Setting the Mood
Throwing a party is all about setting the mood for your guests.  Create the ultimate experience for your guests by decorating in true Halloween style.
-Try creating cobwebs on your porch by stretching out some cotton
-Fill a cauldron with dry ice and add some hot tap water this will create a rolling fog that will take your party up a notch
-Blackout! Replacing your lights with blacklights for the night will definitely set the mood for your Halloween party
-Use wine goblets and votives for some eery lighting throughout the house

Music
For a great Halloween themed playlist with everything from the old school "Monster Mash" to Lady Gaga's " Monster" click on this link below:

Dress the Part

Be the Hostess with the Mostess.  You should not only make it mandatory for your guests to come dressed up but you should use this excuse to go all out too!  Try out one of this year's popular Halloween costumes like the Black Swan, Lady Gaga or Cleopatra or try to come up with a unique idea of your own!

Food and Drink

Make some Halloween themed treats to keep your guests full and happy.  Carmel apples and lady fingers are a staple at any Halloween party here are some other great recipes for you to try out:

Also try making this signature themed drink, it would be really cool if you served it out of a cauldron!

Nuclear Waste:
1 shot of blue curacao
Vodka
Orange Juice

Keep them Entertained

Don't burden your guest with themed activities all night but a few fun games could break the ice and really get your party going.  Try a fall classic like apple bobbing, a murder mystery scavenger hunt or wipe the dust of your old ouija board for a really spooky time! Or try this fun icebreaker What dead celebrity am I?
