Super Adoption Day- May 22nd, 2011

On May 22nd, 2011, Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia hosted their 2nd Annual With Love Super Adoption Day.  With the goal of raising awareness and fundraising to help put the No-Kill Policy in effect, Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia was met with huge success and had hundreds of people come out for this great event.

As the largest adoption event in Philadelphia's history, Super Adoption Day brought together over 100 unique vendors, dozens of rescues, live music, and animal lovers from all over the area.

We transformed the outdoor open space venue at the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia to bring together animals and people from all walks of life.  Many people went home with a new rescue, but everyone left with a greater appreciation for what these animals go through and the work Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia is doing to try to stop it.

Councilman Jack Kelly was awarded with the Jack Kelly Animal Advocate Award for helping to give Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia a voice in politics and backing the organization in their mission to enact the No-Kill Policy
